Lords of Vaala is an asymmetric strategy game for 1-4 players. Play as a general, managing your army and resources, or play as a dragon destroying your foes and laying waste to the land. To win the game you must overcome the odds, plan your strategy and collect the most Vaala. The first player to amass 10 power tokens will claim victory.

At the start of the round, a deck is built using the planned actions from each player. When the deck is revealed, the cards are resolved in order and your strategy will either succeed or fail.
Dragons soar, attack, and cause devastation. Consuming Vaala and destroy all who stand in their path. Generals command and build armies to conquer the land and gather precious power, waging war upon their enemies.
However gameplay is not always straightforward, for if a dragon and a general come into contact, they may form a Dragonbond – an unbreakable alliance. This means that they can combine their might and will win or lose together.
The aim of the game is to collect the most power. The first player to amass 10 power tokens claims victory.
